Frequently Asked Questions

How can I buy a product I see on the site?

The items shown on this site are representative of Hester's line of products, and are not an exhaustive listing of what is available. Additionally, just because an item is shown on the site does not necessarily mean that it is currently available in our stores. We produce in limited runs and items do tend to sell out.

Please do visit our shops on Hartenstraat when you are in Amsterdam to see what we have available now. If you are not able to make it to Amsterdam, you can find Hester's products at over 150 stores throughout Europe and Asia. And if you live in the United States, you can buy online from our e-commerce boutique at www.hveus.com.

For how long are products guaranteed?

Damages related to production faults are repaired free of charge for 12 months after the purchase date. In these cases, please provide us with a copy of your payment receipt with your repair request.

After this guarantee period of 1 year, we do have to charge costs to cover our expenses. For the replacement of zippers, handles, shoulder straps, etc., expect costs of approximately € 30 to € 50.

Where can I send my bag for a repair?

If you are near Amsterdam, you can bring your bag to our shop at Hartenstraat 37. If this is not convenient for you, please send it to Hartenstraat 37, 1016 CA Amsterdam.

Before sending us your bag, please empty it completely and include a note with your name, address, telephone number and a detailed description of the defect you want us to repair.

Repairs typically take 4 weeks to complete, but depending upon the availability of spare parts, may take longer. In rare cases, we may need to send the bag back to the leather atelier in Italy, where it was produced. We will contact you if it will take more than 4 weeks to repair your bag.

For all questions related to repairs, please contact us via e-mail at support@hestervaneeghen.com.
